NC State sent out a notification on Friday, Feb. 19 that they had identified a cluster of COVID-19 at a house in Greek Village.
A cluster is defined by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services as five or more COVID-19 cases in close proximity to each other. This is the third cluster that NC State has identified in 2021. This is the first cluster associated with Greek Life that the school has identified this semester. In the fall, ten of the 27 clusters reported by NC State were associated with Greek Life. According to NC State’s COVID-19 Dashboard, there have been 1,182 positive COVID-19 cases between students and employees this year. On Thursday, Feb. 18, the school reported 74 positive cases, which is among their highest counts of any day this year. ● The Recommended Content Widget will appear here on the published site.
